Hello I've been having trouble finding a timeframe from once the NOA2 is received to the interview date. How many months is it on average before the interview after the NOA2 is received?

I assume all countries are different, My fiancé is in Haiti and we are still waiting on NOA2 but I would love some sort of timeframe if possible. Thank you and sorry if this answer is somewhere on the site and I missed it. :)

Hello,

Please review this link, http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

I hope it helps. Once you get NOA2 they will send to NVC, NVC will assign a case number , then NVC will send to Consulate and then consulate will confirm when they have the case and give you instructions on what to do next, then you will depend on when the next available appointment is. In my case (Mexico) they had appointments available for the following month.

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

I received my NOA2 via the USCIS website... it's already been 12 business days (or 16 days if we include weekends) since NOA2. I haven't heard anything yet.

I'll have to call NVC to get my case number, but it only opens at 7:30 am eastern time (I'm getting ready to go to work during that time). There is no way for me to call them during business days because I work.

Do you know if they are open during the weekend ? How about after 5 pm ?
