Hello everyone

I am relatively new to this forum. I applied for a fiancee (girl) visa at the end of may 2014. I also submitted an expedite request based on humanitarian need which did not get approved.

I received a letter in mid aug 2014 stating that uscis transferred my case to the California service center. The political situation in the country where my fiancee lives is getting worse.

I recently called uscis and the 2nd tier immigration officer told me that the car service center takes 6 months not including the nvc processing.

It has already been 3 months and I'm worried about my fiancee s health and safety.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

California Approval Rate is good so Far and situation in.. Pakistan is worst I do understand, but will you believe in that situation i went to US Embassy on 19th August and it was opened and it took us 2 hours for us to reach there from Islamabad it self, but I would say the US Embassy (Staff was very very good and welcoming and they appreciated us to be there) so dont worry about the situation in Pakistan, embassy send notes to ppl, in case they have issue but it will never close in Pakistan !

Do you mean a month or two after I received the transfer service center notice? And does that include the nvc?

Hello everyone,

I received my approval from UCSIS mid October. I called NVC last Friday and still they do not have any record of my 129f. Can someone please she some lights on the time line for NVC and consulate processing?

Thanks

Here is a link with step by step instruction of the NVC process and what to expect:

On the other hand, I would suggest that you check out the MENA forum or the Pakistan page to see other people's experience with Pakistan. I hear Pakistan is a tough consulate but there is a wealth of information on here. You can use the search tool for any particular question you have as someone else may have already asked the same question. Congrats on your recent approval and prepare for things to really take off!
