Naturalization N-400: Listing residences outside US?

I am applying for naturalization (N-400). From 2009-2012 I lived continuously in the US.

In 2012, I got married in Canada and stayed with my husband in Canada for several months (less than 6 months total). I am declaring this time outside the US in the Section that asks about time spent outside US. However, do I also have to list the place where I stayed for these 4-5 months as a resident in "Part 4. Information About Your Residence"? I maintained a home in the US insofar as I live with my sister in FL (I don't pay any bills or anything, so it's difficult to prove that I actually "live" there, although I considered it my home).

Just wondering if I should declare the Canada address in Part 4 or not?

It sounds to me like you had a long trip to Canada, but you weren't living there. Did you get a job, apply for a drivers license, etc.?

If your permanent address remained your sister's home (I assume that's were you lived before you went to Canada), then that's what you should list as your residence for those 4-5 months.

Think of it this way, if you had gone to Greece for a 4 month honeymoon, you wouldn't list the hotel you stayed at or the house you rented there as a place of residence, you would just mention it as a 4 month long trip.
