Question about providing evidence of realtionship

Hi!

I have just started my I-129F package and today I'm getting started with making copies of passport stamps and boarding passes, etc. My question is, am I able to write on the back of the copies to kind of explain what it is, or is it pretty self-explanatory? Or maybe I could make a sort of "table of contents" that gives a brief description of each item of evidence?

Also, I know they accept email or instant messaging correspondence. Are screenshots of Facebook posts and messages acceptable?

Thank you in advance :D

Passport stamps and boarding passes as the evidence of meeting are pretty self-explanatory. You can just list the contents of your petition package on your cover letter in the order you place them.

Yes, you can use screen shots of your correspondence as evidence of relationship. Evidence of meeting in person within the 2 years before filing is most important for the I-129F petition. The majority of proof of relationship is not needed until later for the K-1 visa interview.

if you guys skype, whatsapp, facebook, phone bills etc. screen shots of skype, the call log also, whatsapp you can eail your self the conversation and print it. I printed out over 300pages and that was just for half of a month.

when we did our package i used microsoft powerpoint to add names to pics etc so they can know who is who.

any kind of mail you would have sent each other hold on to it also.

still waiting for NOA2 and gud luck

Oh and we just added the overview of our calls on skype for 1month. The total of our I-129F was 91pages (with the forms, copy of each pages of the passport of the petitioner, passport stamps, flight tickets/boarding passes, pictures - we had 8 pages with each 4 pictures explaining where we were and what we were doing- 7pages of small pictures, gifts we sent each other, letters, envelopes, letters of intent, ..) It didn't seem like much until I printed it all out again (you should copy everything twice so you keep a copy for the embassy.

The one that you are going to write at the back for the photos. Write each photos your name (full name of petitioner and beneficiary), date taken and the place where it took, then put a little description about the photos (example: Had dinner with friends...)

We got approved very quick.

We didn't include proof of conversation during filing of Petition. We only sent proofs that we met in person. For primary evidences:passport stamps, boarding pass. Secondary evidences;ticket itinerary, hotel guest folio, hotel booking, receipts with his names But include some receipts even without his name but have photos on the place of that receipts. Good luck.

We Got approved quick!

Hi there, here is what we did: I copied for example the boarding passes on a preprinted paper where I stated at the bottom ex:

Date: xx,xx,xxxx

Subject: boarding pass New York - London for person xy

Occasion: me traveling to visit xy over summer

This I did for every copy. Makes it absolutely dummy proof :)
