You can start the preparation in terms of getting all necessary information and documents gathered,

but wait until you are notified by embassy before you submit DS-160.

Your US Citizen should really read up on all this and help you through this processing,

and he also needs to send you at least the following...

1. I-134

2. Employment letter from his work

3. 2013 income tax filing and W2 that he received from his company

4. Most recent 6 month pay stubs

5. Letter of intent to marry (signed and dated), you need to do one as well

If he doesn't have any dependents (children), and it will be just you and him,

then he needs to make over $19,662 per year. If he has dependents,

then you can find what he needs to make from below document in order to sponsor you for K1 visa.

If he makes less, then he will need a co-sponsor (perhaps his parents or siblings),

that makes that income level.

We got the notification apply for DS-160 while my finance he got the case number sending by NVC last week.

2. The employment letter from his work, does he need someone sign on that letter since he work at TSA ( transportation security administration )?

and if there any other paper work he need signature from the government or someone so please kindly let me know.

oh wow, u received ur noa2 on August 12th, I received mine August 13th, and received notification that is been shipped on August 21st, so waiting to get my case #.. have u filed the DS-160 yet?

and should include...

1. Hire date

2. Annual salary

3. Job position

4. Contact person & phone number

5. And should have a signature of person writing this letter

We have not done the DS-160 yet. We are honestly not in a hurry at this point. Her POE is already set to Dec 31 & the US Embassy in Germany is really fast, so we're gonna wait on packet 3. I will however, start calling tomorrow to get my Case # & verify that the petition has left NVC.

Well his employment says to go to a website called theworknumber.com and says he needs to give them his employer code and ssn. So is that ok?
