Out of f1 status getting married

Hi iam sorry i ve read so many comments iam still confused , here is my situation , i came to new york august 12 2013 holding a tourist visa than after 6 months i applied for a change of status to f1 status , it was approved .so currently iam on f1 status , iam going to get married in march 2015, the issue for me is that i decided stop going to school in september My classes will finish at this month , i dont want to pay for another classes knowing they gave recetly a new i20 valid for one year , so i decided to stop school cause i want to save money for my wedding .the main kestion is will it be a problem when i ll apply for immigration for adjustement my status and obviously until march my english school will report me to immigration services before march , thank u rhank u for ur answers

I know i ll be violation my status , iam conscious i ll lose it , but In the future I ll marry ny fiancee who is us citizen , u think will it a priblem on the interview

Once you're out of status, the DSO will terminate your SEVIS record, which USCIS will see. It's one thing to quit school AFTER getting married and sending out your AOS packet, as you will be in pending status, but to quit school prior to even getting married or sending off the AOS packet is not a good idea.

Some. People told me it shouldnt be a problem if i hire An attorney but it ll take longer than usual , as long as i entered in US legally with a visa , what do u think guys ??i i need someone's opinion who experienced that

Which people and why should it take longer?

Since they know where you live and who you are, if the school reports you as in non-attendance expect a knock on the door from immigration.

People have to understand that lawyers are NOT above the law nor can they change the law.

Even if you entered the US legally, if you did not fulfill your obligations as F1 Student, then you are out of status.

As soon as you stop attending school and the school reports you as not attending you become subject to being picked up, detained, and deported. Will that happen? No one knows.

If you manage to remain in the US (out of status) until you file the I-130/I-485 your overstay will be forgiven.

Once you stop going to school, you are out of status. Until you are married with an AOS, you can be picked up and deported.

Save yourself some stress and get legally married now, and file for AOS ASAP. Continue planning the big wedding party for March if you want.

Who knows what will happen. If you are asking if you can get away with being out of status for about eight months and then come back in status doing AOS, we can't predict if you can get away with it. If immigration officials really want to pick you up and send you home, they can do that.

Some people have done such things before I guess and successfully adjusted status, being out of status then marrying USC. In your case you have already done AOS from visitor to student, now you don't even want to maintain that status. So, who knows how the interviewing officer is going to look at your case!
