Anyone experienced this lately?

My interview date is September 22 and I plan to schedule my medical on sept 3 & 4. However, we still have not received an email from NVC or the hard copy.

One of the requirements at SLEC:

"Letter of Case Number

Principal Applicant - original & 2 photocopies

Derivative - 2 photocopies

If Letter of Case Number was received via email, print 3 copies for the principal applicant and 2 copies for each derivative."

Our status at NVC now is "READY. Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at US consular section. "

Would it be okay if we proceed with our plan to schedule my medical on sept 3&4? What document did you bring at slec as proof of letter confirmation from nvc?

Letter from NVC or interview appointment confirmation from USEM

But SLEC indicated that for k1 requirements are:

"D. Letter of Case Number

Principal Applicant - original & 2 photocopies

Derivative - 2 photocopies

If Letter of Case Number was received via email, print 3 copies for the principal applicant and 2 copies for each derivative.

E. Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation from the U.S. Embassy , if available

Principal Applicant - original & 2 photocopies

Derivative - 2 photocopies

If Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation was received via email, print 3 copies for the principal applicant and 2 copies for each derivative.

For applicants who registered online, 2 copies of the online registration confirmation form"

-we have the interview confirmation but we don't have the letter or email from nvc.

Dumb question but what is the interview confirmation letter? what if i dint schedule my interview yet and decided to do medical and cfo first?

Do you have the letter/email from NVC with the MNL #? If you do then you should be OK to get the medical done. If you don't have the NVC letter/email and haven't scheduled the interview to have the confirmation page I am not sure SLEC will let you in. You need at least one for sure.

Just remember the visa validity date is tied to the date of the medical, maximum 6 months, minus the time between the medical and issuance.

So i really have to schedule the interview first before doing the medical? I just called NVC yesterday to get my case number.. I guess I'll just email them or just wait for the NVC letter to arrive then. Oh well.. -____-

I called SLEC the other day and the girl said that Interview Confirmation is enough already.

As of today we still have not received the hard copy from NVC. No email reply also.
