Canadian Fiancé Working After Entry?

Hello all! First, I want to say THANK YOU for answering most of our questions before we even posted, and even more for answering the questions we have asked! Can you tell we are filing super soon, with all of these questions coming up?

Anywho - we plan on filing by the end of the week, have everything in order and just going over a lot of forms/getting conversations and such printed. I was wondering if there is a way for him to continue working at his job in St. Catharines, since we are so close to the border (Buffalo/Niagara Falls area). Advance Parole seems to be for a non-US citizen spouse, if I read correctly, so I guess that wouldn't be the right choice.

Are there any alternatives where he would not have to wait so long to return to Canada (in this case, for his job)? His desire is to transfer to a US company eventually, but it wouldn't hurt to keep working while he is waiting on EAD or his Green Card if possible.

(edit) P.S. - We will both have Nexus (Trusted Traveler program for Canada/US) before he gets here, I am not sure if that changes anything!

Once he enters on the K-1 he cannot go back to Canada and come back until he marries, files AOS, and obtains his Advance Parole (AP). The AP will be approved 90 days from when he files AOS.

If you need freedom of movement, the spousal visa gives the right to travel immediately on entry.

He needs advance parole to leave the USA after entry with the K1 (the AP) and work authorization work in the USA (the EAD.) Both of which you file with the AOS. If he cannot wait the 90 days it takes to obtain these after marriage in the USA then I highly suggest getting married first and obtaining a CR1 visa which gives the beneficiary a green card upon entry and allows them to work and travel right away.
