Searched but couldn't find. So last Tuesday evening, I posted that I received text & email NOA2. Friday I received hard copy NOA2. Today in the mail (mind you I forgot to check the mail Saturday), I find another letter from USCIS. I said to myself "I already have my NOA2. What could this possibly be?" Intrigued, I open it, only to discover that it's another NOA2. Everything is identical except for the fact that it is dated one day later. The 1st NOA2 is dated 8-12-2014. The 2nd NOA2 is dated 8-13-2014. Before anyone asks, I triple verified there are no other differences, well besides the fact that the 8-12-2014 NOA2 is out of alignment, but still totally readable. The 8-13-2014 NOA2 is in alignment. I assume the adjudicator who processed the petition probably didn't like the way the 8-12-2014 NOA2 came off the printer. But he sent it anyway cuz it was late in the day & he was in a hurry. The were processing a lot of petitions around that time. Maybe he wrote a post it note to himself to redo it the next day, or he did another one but it was already past the mail cutoff, so it went out the next day. Well, whatever happened, I have 2 NOA2's. I already sent Betty my packet with a copy of the 1st NOA1. To minimize confusion later, even though I'll keep the 2nd one as evidence, I will not send it to Betty.

Anyone else ever heard of anything like this? I know I will probably be told call USCIS, but I doubt they will know why it happened. And besides, they told me on it that all further correspondence should go through NVC, which may or may not receive 2 petitions from USCIS. I'm thinking they won't, as USCIS can only forward it once. I did not apply twice, so in theory, there should only be one packet to send.

Another note. I did see this on uscis.gov & posted about it on here. I just don't remember where.

Well I received 3 text messages with a review, then approval and then a reopen notice. I received in the mail the review notice then the approval that it is in nvc. I do not know if it now will be delayed because of a reopen. Going to have to wait and see.

I also received two I-485 approval notices, dated a week apart. It doesn't mean anything.
