Hi, my name is Myriam, I am a Chilean citizen.

I entered this year as a visitor under the waver program and was expecting to go back to Chile on September.

I was on a relationship with Dan (US citizen) for moe than 2 years.

Anyway after being on critical care for more than a week on a diabetic coma ( I didnt know I was diabetic) he decided to propose to me on the hospital and we got married on August 2 of this year. We will start tomorrow our paper work so I can stay here. He will be filling forms I-30 and I-864 as well as I will be filling for I-485.

He called an immigration officer and he told Daniel that we should apply at the same time these forms.

My question is : I have my ticket for September 10th as my 90 days here will be due.

Can I stay while all the forms are being filled?? or I have to go back home and wait for them?I also took my medical examination.

We are running out of time and we are concerned.

Looking forward to hear from your comments

regards, Myriam

Do you need to return to Chile in the next 90 days? If the answer is no stay and adjust.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
