i 693 civil surgeon

Back on my country i had my medical exams twice, and the two times i ve been given from the doctors just a sealed disc,they checked my vaccinations history and i had all them done, but i was never given a ds 3025 , the two times i was just given the sealed disc and was told u should give this at the port of entry, i gave it there and they gave it back to me.

Now what do i have to do here? Do i have to re do my medicals from the beggining or should i just send to the civil surgeon just the sealed disc?

I just had the medicals done for the second time on june.

I ve called the civil surgeon on this area of uscis and they just said that their civil surgeon has been on the hospital right now and they didn t have any answer for me. Please anyone who knows sumthing give me some advice.Thank u.

First, you really should fill out your timeline, so that people don't have to go through your past post

to figure out what processing your are involved in. I'm assuming you came on K-1 visa, and you are

starting the AOS/EAD/AP processing at the moment.

Back to you question...I've been getting education on this quite a bit recently, and here my understanding of this...

1. The DS-3025 "should" have been included in the "brown" sealed envelope that you received from embassy

and eventually turned in at POE. This packet is supposed to be forwarded to the USCIS, and be merged

into your case file.

2. Therefore, if you properly "completed (or been waived of)" required vaccinations, and if those facts are

clearly indicated in the DS-3025, then you can file AOS without submitting DS-3025 or I-693.

3. But if your DS-3025 somehow didn't get properly filed with your case (in other words lost in transit/filing),

then you might get RFE to do the full medical exam with a civil surgeon.

4. If your DS-3025 is found at USCIS, but they find missing required shots, then you might get RFE to complete

the vaccination (with your choice of doctor), and get that shot record transcribed into I-693 (in a sealed envelope).

5. If all goes well, then your medical exam results and vaccine shots are fully satisfied, then your application

is processed without RFE.

did you receive 221g?

If not and you are doing AOS, then this post should move to the AOS forum.

Thank u for ur answer, i was put under 221 g before i got my visa due to lack of my fiancee s domicile, now i m here, and filing for aos.

I know i should fix my timeline, but i don t even know how to use this site, i didn t even know how to post someone helped me figure it out on how to post,anyways,

the doctors of the embassy told me that i had not missed one shot from my vaccines, and gave me just a sealed disc,that s it,i don t know thiings are really confusing on all this process,i m going down on monday to see the civil surgeon but for the peace of mind i posted here to see what people would suggest me.thanks a lot.Back from my country i have the vaccinations history sheet (From my country hospital, not from the US consullate doctors) and i have the sealed disc the doctors gave me.

Some update on what s going on, this is getting really ridiculious, i called a lot of civil surgeons clinics here on nebraska , the ones authorized by USCIS, and all of them tell me u have to re do all the medicals exams from the beggining, and one of them said to me :

"The civil surgeons on your country are not real civil surgeons that s why u need the medicals done again and it s gonna cost u 600 dollars"

How come they r not real surgeons when they are the ones working for the US embassy back there, and i had my medical twice ,paid twice money to do the medicals,i m so tired and stressed out of all this.

I'm not too impressed either many civil surgeons wanting to do full medical.

That said, I don't know if you read my above post carefully, but based on what you say

(full medical done twice and all required shots are done), you shouldn't have to waste money

and see civil surgeon.

You should be able to file AOS without I-693, and USCIS should have your medical exam results

and shot records because you turned them in during your POE (first entry into US on K1 visa).

Only if they misplaced your file, then they will contact you to do the medical exam and/or

get missing shots and submit I-693.

So at this point, I would just submit the AOS packet without I-693.

I really apreachiate ur answers, i ve read them both really carefully and thank u very much, at the POE they kept only the brown envelope of the embassy, not the disc on sealed paper that the civil surgeons gave me,thank u very much again n god bless u.
