My form is now in Manila. But, studying the 2Go tracking info, I discovered something interesting! You don't ship the forms STRAIGHT to the embassy. You send them to an outside company, that is probably the mail handler for the embassy.

STANLEY ASSOCIATES, INC.
ECOPLAZA BLDG
2305 CHINO ROCES EXT

Which is 12km away from the embassy itself. That explains SOME of the delay, but I don't think it should take 21 days to go 12km, unless they're contracting out to carrier turtles or something.

And, now I know the who's, and what's about that.

http://washingtontechnology.com/articles/2012/06/06/cgi-stanley-state-visas.aspx

Stanley was bought by our friends CGI Federal. So, now it makes sense as to why it takes 21 days for a package to make it from "received" to a conselor's desk.

no it didnt move cuz they are lazy, and get to it when they feel like it!!!!!

Wow.... HARSH words!! 2017.gif

I take it you were not at the interview at USEM. If you had, I would think you would have more respect for what the people who work at USEM must endure each and everyday they are at work. Thousands of upon thousands of visa's are processed through that facility daily. The sea of people processing through USEM each day are wanting the "American dream", to work in USA or to be with there love one. Just like you are doing. Yes, there might be a few bad apples, there always is in any organization BUT for you to paint with a broad stroke that "they are lazy" just burns me up. 2020.gif Have some respect!!

Ahhhhhhh burns you up!!!!!!

So touching your compassion......

I have been in many Embassy's, When they close at 4pm daily and you go in at 1pm and every Consular has left the building, that is a waste of time!!!!!! They should be processing AP cases instead if conducting interviews and going home!!! And you feel sorry for someone doing what their paid to do?????? What a joke.....

I do feel for you and the longer AP you are experiencing. But the consulate officers are very busy for sure and they do process an amazing number of people each and every work day.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
