We have also been transferred from TSC to our "local office" (my fiancee lives in NY). Don't know exactly what that means yet, seems we're all in the same boat for the moment. Our NOA1 date was 28th May.

Actually TSC is going a lot faster than CSC right now, as can be seen on Igor's List. I personally don't want to be transferred as an April 1st filer, because mine might get a faster approval in TSC. But May/June/July filers will probably take advantage.

This happens with USCIS all the time. A year ago, TSC was a lot faster and CSC was so slow that they made transfers to TSC, and then TSC got a lot slower. Right now they're turning it in the opposite way. Soon CSC will get a lot slower because of all the transfers and TSC will be really fast.

Actually, if we all check this forum a year from now, we'll probably see people at CSC signing petitions because TSC is a lot faster :D it's like a circle.

I think that they'll make their focus the transferred ones. It may slow CSC down, but I doubt it'll put us behind. April 1st filers still have til sept 1st to be 5 months. It's august 12th. If they start in 2 weeks, they'll get through them. Although at the rate tsc has been going, I was thinking I would possibly hit 5 months anyway. But looking back on histories, the transferred ones usually go quickly.

I am the petitioner.

here it says that even though it says local center, it is actually another service center, not an actual local office: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/441796-faq-case-transfers-to-another-service-center/

Yes, maybe you're right :) I was just saying it as I don't see any approvals in CSC today on Igor's List. Maybe they've already started working on transfered files and that's why they don't give as much approvals as TSC right now. Let's hope for the best :)

Ayla_42,

I know no intricate details, I only knew this major shift of work load was coming..,.,.it happened before I thought it did happen.

I do not know, who, how long, or sent to where, I just cannot "push" my contact, as "this" was not supposed to be leaked.

If I know anything new, I will post it.

Andie, My orginal post of over 2 weeks ago, is well known.,.,.,no need to re-post for your info. Just did not like you acting like you are telling "everyone" something I said would happen 2 weeks before your post.

I may re-post it.,.,just so everyone can see.

No problem with you Andie, probably good guy, just struck me wrong.

I don't really get why she deserves any "credit". She talked to some mysterious person and got a heads up that they'll be shuffling to help with the backlog. So? That hasn't really helped us any because we still have no idea what's going on. We don't know where we're being sent or what it will mean for our timelines. You're being full of yourself, raven, and frankly I would appreciate it if you stopped hijacking this thread to gain empty praise. We're all here to figure out what's happening to our cases & to stick together as petitions that have been transferred. Sorry if this is offensive but she's rubbing me the wrong way with trying to get praise & attention for something that has no effect on us & throwing a fit when the moderators didn't acknowledge she was "right". I never even saw her original post so her "prediction" sure never helped me.

Ok Our NOA1 was April 21st (TSC). File was transferred on August 11th. Latest update said "On August 11, 2014, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing."

I'll post again once we receive the written info in the mail!! Oh! And our paralegal said he's seen a few cases with similar transfers and for them it has meant faster processing times. Here's hoping!
