Read up on the NVC Process http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Don't know what will happen to the I-129F more than likely it will be closed at NVC or they may let the I-129F continue through to embassy if that happens I would surely take that route since the NVC now has almost come to a halt.

Start calling the NVC in about a week or 2 to get case# and you shoud know which path you will be able to take.

You probably are, but since you stated you wanted the I-129F to go faster and get the K3, I moved your post here until such a time as either you say you're not going to go after the K3 or you can't. ;)
