TSC K1 approvals starting to speed up?

There seems to be many more TSC approvals per day on the Timeline page (non-transferred); almost 10 per day. Before only 2-3 in April-June. Given that the numbers of approval on VJ is representative of the actual number of approvals, maybe this is a glimmer of hope?

I may be wrong, but I have an excel linked that show weekly approvals up, even though it's only the past 2-4 weeks. Let's hope this trend continues. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9vadmt4eftvqyyi/visajourney%20completions.xlsx

It is a 2-week trend that I have been following as well. TSC appears to be moving petitions right now.

This is some positive news on the TSC front.. finally. While I am extraordinarily frustrated and grumpy about CSC having petitions approved within 2-3 months from NOA1, I would at least be comforted in knowing I may not have to wait LONGER than my 'expected' 5 months at TSC.. Crossing fingers, here's to hoping. Get those petitions MOVING!!!

About 3 weeks ago, USCIS updated the TSC expected K-1 time to 5.5 months.

I just hit 5.5 months since NOA1 today, so they will be getting a phone call.

I already tried writing my senator, but have had no reply (actually, this usually means they are trying to get info--I at least didn't get back a "thank you for your concern about this important issue" form letter).

I am incredibly frustrated by the slowness, as is my fiance. It is likely to put her job in jeopardy before all is done. Her company knows that she plans to move to America, so they are training a replacement for her. It is anybody's guess how long they will keep her on board.

I just got off the phone with someone from USCIS...who told me almost nothing that I could not find out from their website. She did say that they are currently processing mid-December '13, so I probably have 2 more months to wait "and that is within the normal timeframe." I pointed out that their own website says the timeframe is 5.5 months, which has now passed. She said that is just a target and is not a guarantee. Well, it's the government, of course there are no guarantees (unless you walk across our southern border, apparently).

So there you have it.

I know that the VJ group is a small percentage of filers, however (and as long as their timelines are correct) looking at the amount of K-1 approvals at TSC over the past few days, they've ramped up to 10-12 approvals. Considering how small our percentage is, that's significant, and at least for the moment shows that they're DOING something.

That is 100% exactly the same way I'm looking at it. On Igor's list, it shows way more TSC approvals than CSC lately, & it has looked that way the past 2 weeks. Something may be shifting. Except I have no explanation for the last 2 business days. Keep in mind that a few of those approvals may have been actually CSC with incorrect Timelines or Philippines expeditions.

Just got our NOA2 from TSC yesterday. Phew! It's very good news! It took us a total of 162 days to get from NOA1 to NOA2. I think everything is getting sped up for us at TSC. Good Luck everyone!

Well, happy day! While I was exercising, I heard a text come in. I finished my workout and went to look at the phone to find notice from USCIS that there had been a status change. I checked online and Bingo! Approved! Finally! Now for the next batch of paperwork. Good news just before I go back over to Vietnam to visit her!

Congrats to all those lucky souls that got their NOA2. This is encouraging news since the USCIS now shows TCS having a time frame of 6 months. :dancing:

It's been like that for a few weeks. But, with the transfers happening, It'll be back to normal in no time :)
