K1 visa. Did anyone receive his/her passport stamped yet after the backlog issue?

Hi everyone, I got my K1 visa approved by the consul on my interview on July 24. She told me that I'd receive it in between a week and two, because of some techinal issues. I asked her "Up to 2 weeks for sure?" And she said "Yes, up to two weeks".

So I felt confident to buy my plane ticket for August 21th with a good deal (Almost a month of distance from the date).

Today is just the first week since the approval and I'm already getting nervous, I can still wait almost 3 more weeks to get it (20 days).

I wonder if the speed has to do with the flow of visas according to each country, independently. I hope K1 is priority for them. and that not many cases in Buenos Aires currently.

How do you see the thing? Have anyone got the passport since the problems?

You should read this:

K-1 is a non-immigrant VISA. Hard to say when you will receive your VISA, sorry.

The Embassy contacted me on Friday 1th to tell me I'd have my visa and pakage delivered to DHL on Monday 4th! YAYYYYYYY

PS: I only bought the plane ticket cause she told me "For sure in two weeks", but yes, I could've waited to have the visa
