Questions about mom's I-130, need some help

I am getting ready to submit my mom's petition but I still need some clarification before finalizing everything.

1. In my birth certificate, my parents' date of marriage was incorrect. It's supposed to be 12/30/1983 but it was 12/30/1984 (the year was wrong). If I include a copy of my mom's marriage certificate, do you think that would be enough to prove the discrepancy between the two documents? Or is it going to be an issue?

2. I am currently a homemaker but my husband works. Our household annual income meets the poverty guidelines. Since I, the petitioning sponsor, do not have the income:

-- Do I still need to fill up I-864 (as the petitioning sponsor) or does my husband need to fill it up instead? (as the joint sponsor) Or do we BOTH need to do it?

-- And if he does, is the I-864A necessary as well?

I have been overthinking everything and it's been quite stressful (to think that I haven't even started yet!). :help: :help: :help: I would really appreciate any help in this matter.

Thank you so much in advance & God bless :) :) :)

Jenny

You are petitioning for your mother only right, not your father? Therefore, her marriage certificate is irrelevant and you don't submit it with the I 130. The marriage cert. is asked for when petitioning a father. Therefore, that discrepancy won't affect you.

For the affidavit of support, you would fill out a I864 for yourself and a I864A for your husband. As long as you guys meet the 125% level between the two of you, you don't need a joint sponsor. You are allowed to combine your income with a household member.

Yes I am only petitioning for my mom. Guess that answers my questions. Thanks so much for clarifying these for me. :-) :-)
