Just got a pimple on my neck. I named it USCIS. (LOL)

Sorry its a bad joke. I'm being very stressful waiting for the I-130 approval.

I'd rather to pay some additional fee to make it faster.

Maybe it will be helpful if any data shows lots of petitioners die for not seeing lovers.

sigh..

Actually it's not a bad joke. You have to have thick skin and a sense of humor here. But well worth it. Hell, my fiancé is rowing to Hawaii, you think your a wreck ?

Rowing to Hawaii? From which island?

For me rowing is not a bad idea. From Shanghai to San Francisco, No lands can stop me.

I just checked your time line. You got NOA2 so fast.

Can you share some experience?

738 hours equal to 30 days.

Faster than USCIS.

in case Rob187 doesn't answer. he's on a i129 visa or k1. process is not as complicated as ours but they do more paperwork later. petitioner is from Philippines and most likely an expedite.

I'd like to, but I really can't answer that. I believe one of the reasons I got such service might simply have to do with the time of year. I applied in Feb. my paperwork was organized and public servants processing visa's weren't on vacation.

If you can steam past Hawaii and make for San Francisco under your own paddle power...you can do anything  Hang tough and learn how it's done...

I hear ya...darn thing is so slooowwww and complicated,

and the worst is entire processing is a big black box.

There's no one you can talk to to get exact status,

and you don't know where in line your case is.

But what's funny is before the marriage people are all dying to be together forever

and about 50% of them fail and they become the worst hated enemies.

I used this waiting time to build stronger relationship...knowing that we are going to be together forever. :D

By Bribing Or Committing to Suicide, Any Idea can Make It Faster?

Any Idea ? OK - here's one....

Assumption - 12 to 14 months from filing date till interview date.

Have yer uscitizen spouse get a job NOW teaching English in China, contracted to start for the fall semester, a one year contract. After 6 months, he can apply for the I-130 via Direct Consular Filing to the USCIS office in Beijing or Guangzhou. Interview about 2 to 3 months after filing date.

Sure, it means yer spouse gives up his/her life in the USA for a year - but - isn't being with you, daily, worth it ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Western English teachers are "hot" commodity in Asia, particularly in Korea, China, and Taiwan.

"Hot" because market demands them, but my reference too "hot" is...

for some reason, they are hugely popular to Asian females (young, old, single, or married)

as many of them are just throwing themselves too easily to these western male English instructors.

There is some sort of aura of glamour, charisma, beauty, mystique, or something... :alien:

that they fall for.

I know few young guys that went this route in Korea and China,

and heard all the stories. They never want to come back home... its a heaven for.

yes, there's that - but

it's not germane to the reason the USCitizen Spouse might seek the scenario I've described .

Haha~ You know that song “死了都要爱(love and death in english)”...........

It's too impetuous for me.

I can't let him give up his career there for me. He doesn't want to teach english.

He did english teaching for a boy's bording school in Tokyo.

We met there, lived there together for 3 years.

One day, he went camp with school, shared room with students.

At night, after putting the light out, a boy asked:

They thought he was sleeping. But he wasn't.

It makes him uncomfortable that people talk about him in a whisper.
