Greetings everyone, my fiance and I are new here. We just recieved our NOA1.
Unfortunately we got Texas service center :'(

I don't understand why they don't distribute visas to service centers based on their current load. We were hoping to get California.

We all wonder why they do not distribute the load! lol.

Damnit, Texas has failed me :ranting:

lol

So, my timeline says: Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 2, 2015 andFebruary 9, 2015*

Does that mean the time we have to wait until NOA2 is received?

I would not rely on the timeline estimates as they are only an estimate.

NOA2 takes 6 months currently through TSC, then the NVC to Sydney consulate stage for interview takes an average of 2 months for Aussies.

I would say from NOA1 to Interview estimate a total of 8-9 months

Well, that puts a damper on things :(

I wish they would share the load between service centers.

:( sorry OP. It could change, but it's unlikely that will be significantly quicker any time soon. The backlog of I-129f's to be adjudicated at TSC is 12,000 at the moment.

There was a time when CSC was slow so it changes every now and again but unfortunately TSC has that spot right now. The current line is December 17th. We all hope they speed up.

Cringeworthy slow.

I guess I will just keep working and saving money while we wait. My fiance is coming to see me in 3 months (I'm the beneficiary, dude in the picture), so looking forward to that.

Spend quality time together and remember that there are others waiting or have waited just like you! We're all in the same position just with different time fra,es. I'm glad you can spend time with your fiance while waiting for the approval! :)
