K-1 immigration-Vets with a 100% PTSD rating

Hi, I'm a combat vet with a 100% rating for PTSD and wounds. My fiancé had her successful interview on 7/14. It's status is 'ready', not 'issued'. A number of couples with non-priority/interview dates a week after mine have their issued passports in hand. I read on the Manila EM website if you are categorized AP thay have to tell you that your are AP and what the issue is.

Now my paranoia is kicking in with all the VA's recent changes. I did read that any vet with a PTSD rating and a CCW license gets a hard look. I applied for my K-1 it was before Obama caused VA Director General Shinseki to fall on his sword, I have immense respect for the man, given the enormity of his task and the chronic lack of funding of VA hospitals.

Maybe I'm impatient, my thoughts are the system has "glitched" my file, my file has traveled back to the Texas service center for further 'vetting' due to this new intrusion of my medical records, or perhaps my PTSD is getting ahead of bureaucratic SNAFU'S

Anyone had a similar experience ?

Thanks to you Veterans of all Wars ,

Did you see that the visa issuance system worldwide was broken? I believe it still is only working on a limited capacity.

I think you are being paranoid. I bet the delay is just because of the "glitch." Good luck to you.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
