Not a prob.

Hi VJ,

I was just wondering, is it possible for me to come in with a B1/B2 Visa to go on vacation, but while having fun, can I also take a class - Just want to improve my English. Would that be okay?

thanks!

You may want to check on the cost of doing this because people that don't have a certain legal status are charged as non residents and it can be very expensive to enroll. Where I went they changed about 4 times the normal rate and there are no refunds if people don't finish the class.

Thanks for the heads up Ning, I'm hoping to find some local classes, night classes that just focuses on learning English.

You can go to Adult Education. We have some tourists in our ESL class (in California) and they are charged the same rate as US citizens and LPRs;which is $40.

Thanks Coverts! - I was going to ask you where in CA, but it looks like your from up north....I'll look around down south.
