Congrats to you both on the approval and the little one on the way! I hope everything works out and you get to travel soon :)

Thank you! She's having complications too so we are really hoping we'd get it soon! The stress of waiting is adding up to her condition.

Congrats!!

When will you receive the visa? 5-10 days from issuance (which is not the interview), maybe two days less if you pick up at MOA

Hi Hank,

I've used your links countless of times and for that, I'm grateful! :)

Hey, had our interview july 14th and got approved. Already booked tickets for ttomorrow but had to cancel as our visa hasnt arrived yet. Saw news about the glitch on their database worldwide. Hope they fix it soon as my fiance is 8mos preggo and we need to travel while its still safe.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as well. Hope our wedding won't be cancelled because of the delay! Stay positive!

Hi guys, had my interview last july 11 Philippines and went well no 221g given and verbally said im approved but till now no visa issue yet i checked online but my ceac status always ready and last updated july 14.Im a bit worried here, any help to lessen my worries?

We have the same interview date! My last update was on July 14 as well. Please let me know if there's any progress with your visa.

I read of news about glitches that caused delays on visa issuance worldwide. Even "Harry Potter" star Daniel got stuck in Canada because of it.

We call the US Embassy from time to time. I had my intvw for k1 visa and was approved too but still on "ready" status. US Embassy advises that it is already on queue for visa printing but they are just waiting for some update from the US before printing. You might want to call them.

I read about the glitch, too. I know some applicants who were approved (NO 221G) and are waiting for 2 months now.

Some, on the other hand, got their visas after a week. One lady had her interview last July 17 and received her visa July 23.

Called the embassy as well. :) Hope they'll step it up. Lots of backlogs already.

I am one of the applicant that has been waiting for 8 weeks now, no 211g and no additional docs were asked from me...I guess patience is a virtue.

The glitch really sucks! But there's nothing we can do about it.. I called and emailed them but it's a generic answers. The last email I got says they will forward my email to processing team.

I am patiently waiting here.

Hi,

How were you able to get that info? What number did you call?

When I check online, my status was last updated last July 14 as well. Called the embassy (02-9825555 / 02*9028930) twice today to check if my visa

was touched or if there are any updates after July 14 but the call center agents told me they don't have access to that information.

A simple "yes, it was updated to blah blah" or "no, the last update is still last July 14" would have answered my query.

They just kept saying somebody will get in touch with you via email blah blah if there are some additional documents needed.

I'm confused.

Thanks,

Ara

I had my interview July 23 and also hoping that i will get my visa at hand before the 29th of July because he already booked me a ticket but if in case it won't arrive on time, we don't have a choice but to cancel or change the date of my flight. What makes it hard for him is because we don't have any specific time frame on when we will get the visa. It feels like forever that you are waiting and no idea when it will come :-)..BUT KEEP THE FAITH!

Congratulations to us who got approved!

Hola!

Had my interview last Jul 11 and I was approved (NO 221G). Let me thank all of you for the support

we received. It would have been one of a hellish journey if not for the guides and members on here. *bows*

So, was wondering how long before I can receive my visa? It's for pick up

Thanks mucho!
