USCIS TSC Delays

Looking at the stats for August and late 2013 when wait times between NOA1 and 2 where in the 2 to 3 month range makes me wonder what's going on at the Texas Service Center. It looks like they have slowed down to a trickle. It's taking them like 6 months on average. This delays the entire process to 8 months or more.

For now TSC has a backlogged. I heard that they are still on Dec 3rd cases so expected it will take 5- 6 months or more of waiting.

The backlogs seem inevitable after Vermont Service Center is not processing I-129Fs anymore. Though from what I can captured from conversation here about TSC had hired new people to working on for all petitions but it sounds not quite helping enough.

I was lucky mine was processed at TSC back then in late-August last year whereas many people at CSC had waited long enough to get approved. It is about a rhythm of service centers and the outlook will keep changing the course whenever USCIS makes their new policy regarding workloads at these service centers.

Some good info. Didn't know the VCS was no longer processing these. Got to love the governmental machinery! So efficient......

CSC, TSC, and VSC had shown their rhythms were kept changing from 2012 until present days.

I am totally suspicious of this whole process. Got an RFE on Tuesday. Have not received a hard copy yet so don't know what it is for. There is about 21 cases of the same type and date as mine and a couple have been approved but a good majority of the ones with action on them were RFE's. Most of the action was taken this week. I cannot wait til this process is over. It is all like a damn game this people are playing with my well being.

I guess things can be more complicated for the people working there to transfer the cases, but I just don't get how they seem to not realize they need to divide the workload better between the two service centers................... It isn't even like a month difference on processing time between the two. It's 3~4 months difference. That's just silly.

Worst part is, illegals are allowed to stay here and are given priority over all of us. That is another pathetic and disgusting story I don't even want to get into -.-

Well at this point the USCIS is making the DMV look good! So my assumption is that I shouldn't hope for anything less than an 8 month total processing time. My poor fiance is starting to lose home and I'll have to go for a 5th time, just so she knows I'm still interested and working on everything as hard as I can. She doesn't really realize how this whole thing works because of the language barrier.

Hiya I am a January 9th, 2014 filer and still waiting on the NOA2. Texas is shady, but on another thread I see they are starting to process alot of late December 2013 people. As far as your question as to what is going on with Texas....well, ALOT of it had to do with the Typhoon in the Philippines. The USCIS were processing those applications as a priority, and completing them within 2 weeks time (NOA1 &NOA2). Now we have the whole Immigration Reform going on....my case will be 6 months on July 9th, and no NOA2 and no RFE, either. Like many waiting past the 5 months processing time posted on their website, we called the number, but have had to contact our Senators. According to others, the Senators are the ones who really get the heat under them. My Senator is currently awaiting my privacy release form and then going to make a Congressional Inquiry as to what is the hold-up with my case.

So my advice is....contact your Senator after 5 months, because it doesn't hurt and it's helped alot of people.

I can't imagine the wait time for future filers of 2015.....wonder if it will be just as long for them or longer

I am so sorry for those still waiting. I just seen some late March filers get NOA-2's Why is TSC all over the place? My heart goes out!
