Switching Credit From I-TIN to SSN

Timeline

Now that my husband has his SSN, how can he change his credit from his I-TIN number, to his SSN??

He has a GREAT credit score on his I-TIN number, and it would SUCK to have to start from 0 with his SSN... :(

He already contacted the bank but they said he would have to start from 0. :/

Help!!!!

You actually have to contact all three credit Bureaus and have them transfer your credit history from the itn to the ssn. You have to send a mail to each bureau and identifupying information. Fill This out and mail it out.

I have enclosed:

(1) A copy of my ITIN;

(2) A copy of my Social Security Card; and

(3) A utility bill with my name and current address; or

(4) A copy of my state identification card or drivers license with my current address.
