What's happened at the California Service Center?

We submitted our I-129F back in March, 2014. I have been watching another application for a Kazakh beneficiary submitted in January. Both are going through the Texas Service Center, and still waiting. At the time the TSC had good statistics. Since then, TSC appears to have only processed applications from a few select countries.

So, I started reviewing the statistics again. I found the California Service Center has accelerated like a rocket!! Their processing time from NOA1 to NOA2 is COMMONLY 1 to 4 WEEKS!

Does anybody know what is going on? What is CSC doing SO RIGHT? :dancing: Can it (is it) being implemented at the other centers? You folks at the CSC ROCK!!! :luv:

I think California's caseload has recently dropped way off. My wife's ROC just went through there in less than 3 months. The one month K-1s won't last too long, USCIS will redirect cases there and slow them down again.

I Heard TSC are still processing the Dec 3rd cases, they are back logged. CSC are very fast as of now and TSC are very very slow. Expect 3-6months or more of waiting. Goodluck.

Time was that Vermont was faster...then a time was Cali was....Texas is new to the mix....there is no rythme or reason. Stop trying to think about it. It will take what it takes.....figure about 5 months, don't be surprised if is happens sooner or later. 10 months is not outside the realm of possibility.

Our papers are at TCS. Historically, K-1 applications for Kazakhstan beneficiaries took 2-3 months to get NOA2. We are now at month 5. For a while it appeared TCS was selecting applications from only a few countries (NOT Kazakhstan). But 3 weeks ago a couple applications from Kazakhstan from Jan. and Feb. got their NOA2s. Our NOA1 is in March, so we are hoping it will come soon now! :dancing:
