Hi,

I recently filed an I-130 petition for my wife (Feb 2014) and was routed to Nebraska Service Centre.

A few years back, before we got married, she applied for a visit/tourist visa to visit me in the states. Of course, her application was rejected as she was in a relationship with me and as usual, that raised a red flag.

On second try, she was placed on Administrative processing (AP) for close to 9 months. Finally, she got her tourist visa and visited me for a month and left the US (no overstaying).

Now that we are married, I am wondering if she will be placed on adminstrative processing again when we get to the embassy stage after NVC. If she is placed again on AP, this will definitely lengthen the timeline. By the way, now we are both living abroad together, outside US.

Please share your experience and thoughts. Thanks in advance.
