Hello everyone!! I'm so happy to read your experiences and testimonies.

I don't find the answer for my question throught the differents topics so I explain to you my situation and I hope that someone will give me an answer because i'm waiting for 2 months for my NOA1 and nothing is coming :( I really don't understand why it takes sooooooo long.

My fiancée who lives in US (Florida) sent at the end of february the form to the USCIS in Texas with the documents required... since we haven't received any confirmations from them ( no NOA1).

The check for the fees was taken in March by the USCIS. So since February we are waiting for a confirmation by mail but nothing...!!

Someone knows what is going on?? It's so hard to wait without answers.

Thank you

The beneficiary will not receive the NOA notices, they will be sent to the USC petitioner.

If USCIS cashed the check, then the petition has been accepted. The hard copy of the NOA1 is not really needed for anything; have the USC sign up to view to the status online. If it shows in Initial Review (which it will show until approval, denial or RFE), then a copy of that page can effectively serve as the NOA1.

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Call the USCIS and make sure they have the correct address on file for the USC petitioner. Let them know the receipt notice was never received. If you never received e-notification, then you can ask them what your receipt # is to check your status online.

Also France/Florida here. Two months for NOA1 is a bit extreme. As someone else suggested, call USCIS to verify email/mailing address. Check junk mail folders. Did you sign up for text message/email alerts? If not, after you get your case number, you can sign up for email/text alerts.

Thank you everyone!!

We called USCIS and they said we haven't not already received a case number because they have to check up the background.

Is it soo long??
