Yesterday, we received NOA2 via email saying that the I-130 application was approved. It was 15 days after NOA1.

We applied through Chicago Lockbox from oversea. We haven't received the hardcopy yet but it might be helpful to prepare in advance.

Thank you :)

Thanks for the replies.

We were very careful with every documents we filled out. And we added evidences like lease agreement, some dated and captioned duet photos from when we were dating for 2 year, and plane tickets which we travelled together. We signed up for USCIS notification too. I think everybody is careful about everything and provide enough information. We are just lucky yeah :dancing:

First of all, congratulations! This is strange/exciting/good news... and the second time that I have read this today. Another I-130 petitioner filed from abroad in April 2014 and got approved in about two weeks (through Chicago Lockbox and transferred to California Service Center). Where were you transferred to?

Good luck in the next part of the process!

We filed from abroad tru Chicago Lockbox and transferred to CSC. We haven't received the hardcopy doc for NOA1 yet.

Do you know how long we need to wait for the NVC case number? Meanwhile we are preparing for I-864 packet.

Wow, Congratulations! We applied to the Chicago lockbox in March 2014 (we are from Chile, but we sent the application to a friend in the US, who mailed it for us). Our case was transferred to Nebraska Service Centre. Perhaps we should have sent it straight from Chile.

No, our case is not an expedite. We just filed following the standard procedures and the case was transferred to California Service Center. Maybe they just randomly chose the applications or we just got lucky.

Thanks.

I saw a few cases on VJ who sent the packet from overseas and got through quickly. We sent the packet with Fedex from Singapore.

Hope you all get the reply soon :) Cheers!!
