Waiting for NOA2 at TSC? There are 6,716 petitions in front of you

Don't you have to look at Texas's number ? which is 6000ish / 1400ish and that's 4-5months ? plus you need to allow time to process that month's application too ...

Looked at the wrong graph, that makes it a bit worse.... The backlogs getting greater and greater. I submitted in January so hopefully that means I'm in a slightly better position. But then you never know the trend can go in any direction, also I think because of the holidays in January maybe it was slower.

I understood you! Yes that is correct, my first post is calculations without weekends then my second post was answering a theoretical question if petitions were approved with weekends = 93 days business days.

130 days is more correct in terms of a regular 7 day week.

Warning, More math!

But keep in mind that this 130 days has already begun since February, as per the USCIS data.

Now whether or not the existing 6,700+ pending petitions are being approved at that rate is anyone's guess because it's now April..

So since the first day of March (because the data ends at February) up until today, there's been 35 business days.

Based on the data there are 72 petition approvals per day

Have wee seen approx 2500 approvals?

I personally haven't seen that much movement of Nov, Dec January and February VJ timelines at TSC much.

i know we have a small population of the total petitions represented here on VJ. Looking at Igor's list (filtered to show: All Petitions), there is about 150 petitions for each month. TSC is receiving about 1700 per month. So about 9% (150/1700) of total receipts TSC are represented on VJ. 9% of 2500 is about 225. So i agree with you - I don't think we've seen that much activity since March 1. It seems like things have slowed down over March/April. Or people aren't updating their timelines.

me! ;)

i have been anticipating it as well. i'm just curious to see if there has been a decline in the number of completions (and what the backlog was as of March). i expect to see a decrease in completions since TSC has been slowly working through nov/dec petitions for the last 4 months! it seems like things really started slowing down in March/April.

the updated data was released on the 18th last month. may 18th is this sunday...so maybe we will see it tomorrow or monday?

This is it. I'm gonna include this graph and send it as part of my letter to my senator. Backlog increases, completion decreases ... this is a mess ... how long does it take them to take action to mitigate this problem ??

They have to have a dozen staff meetings to discuss when they will meet again to discuss whether they want to meet again at a later date to discuss it.

This is crazy

If we see the numbers for CSC they completed over 1,400 during march and their backlog is just 4,000.

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

I need to crunch some numbers on this! I'll come back later with the estimates.

I'll be including the uscis data in my letter to the congressmen/senator.
