Hello,

My friend who is a divorced US citizen wants to marry a female widow from Pakistan. The death of her late husband was not recorded so she has no death certificate. In order to marry again, what proof does she have to provide? Is a Affidavit acceptable or is there any other methods of proof? Can this hold up the process? Please advise.

Thanks.
