A question about entering to the US

Hey people.

I and my wife have our green cards and we are confused about when to travel to the USA.

Is it within 6 months or 1 year?

We had our first entry to the USA with our temporary visas in February 1st.

Do i have to go there till August 1st?

And another question. If i enter to the USA in 6 months and my wife in 1 year (my wife plans to come near me after August 1st) will it be a problem for my wife?

This link will provide you with all the information you need:

http://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-green-card-granted/international-travel-permanent-resident

You initial temporary entry permit is valid for 6 months, but you stated you already completed your initial entry. The link above gives you details about the length of time you can stay outside the U.S. after obtaining your green card.

I suggest reading up, because it sounds like you will be pushing the extreme limits of the requirements for retaining a valid green card. Remember, your green card was issued to you because of your stated intent to become a permanent resident in the U.S. If you are not fulfilling your obligations to reside permanently in the U.S., you will risk being denied entry later on.
