I-94 issued Land BP but not at Airport...help! no samp on Passport either

I have l-94 issued on POE in el Paso TX with stamp with date and time as well as in my passport. Visa was F1 and expiration date on I-94 is D/S. Then my ex husband I went back to Mexico for few days but flew back to US specifically to Houston where we were living. It's been more than 10 years and I do not recall details of that entry but I used my F1 visa to enter ( I also probably showed I-120 forms as well) but I do not have any stamp on my passport that confirms that last entry nor they gave me another I-94 -which I do not know if it was necessary since I had a valid one and we went to Mexico for few days only-

Does anyone know if I-94 are issued on PO in airports? Should I have gotten at least a stamp on my passport when I entry that last time?

08/09/14 (day 78) EAD in hand (4 days after "card production" notification)

08/20/14 (day 89) AOS Interview -APPROVED!!! 2 hrs after interview received text/email notification "card in production". 5 hrs after interview received text/email notification I-130 has been approved/notice of permanent resident status has been registered

08/28/14 (day 97) NOA2/Welcome to USA notice arrived in the mail

08/28/14 (day 97) email/txt notification Green Card has been mailed with tracking # -sent priority mail 2-Day

08/29/14 (day 98) GREEN CARD in hand delivered at 1:17pm . Yes it is green! :dance::D:dance::D:dance::D:dance:

09/29/16 (Day 59) Biometrics appointment letter received dated 9/24/16

10/11/16 (Day 71) Biometrics completed. *Also, received on the mail response letter from previous service request filed with copy of Biometrics appointment letter.

11/11/17 (Day 466) Case Status changed to New Card Production

11/16/17 (Day 471) Case Status indicate  New Card being sent on the mail .:dance::dance::D:dance::dance::dance:

11/17/17 (Day 472) I-797  Notice of Removal of Condition being approved received in the mail.

11/20/17 (Day 475/15 months 18 days) New Lawful Permanent Resident arrived in the mail; card in hand at last! :dancing:

Here's my take on it.

CBP at airports definitely issue I-94's. They didn't issue you another I-94 because the one you traveled on at the time was still valid due to your F1.

Should they have stamped the passport on that last entry? I would have thought they would have but I am not sure in your case. I don't think that would become an issue now as that trip was done within the validity period of your F1 visa.

05/19/2014: (80) AOS Interview at Federal Plaza - approval pending due to I-130 file not transferred to NYC field office from Nebraska!

06/04/2014: (96) Infopass scheduled in order to show approved I-130 notice and attempt to get I-485 approval sped up. IO wasn't at work so left copy of approved I-130 and written case review request.

06/20/2014: (112) Green card was approved.

06/26/2014: (118) Received e-mail/text notification of green card approval and that card was also mailed. Received USPS tracking number at 6:45 p.m. EST.

06/27/2014: (119) Received green card in the mailbox.

03/23/2016: (01) I-751 package received at CSC

03/28/2016: (07) Rcvd NOA1 that includes 1 yr GC extension

03/31/2016: (10) Rcvd Bio appt notice (appt. date 04/11/2016)

I do have copies of forms that a law firm submited to changed my status form F1 to H4 visa stating that my last entry to US was Dec 2002 - the one I do not have any stamp anywhere whatsoever- and my H4 back then was approved; which few years later was switched back to F1
