I am so frustrated being at the TSC! It looks like shortly after our application was accepted as TSC, they started transferring applications to the CSC. Now it appears the TSC is crawling at barely snail pace with approvals and I am seeing constant approvals of i129f's transferred or sent to CSC even though they weren't even mailed until months after ours. What happened to things being taken care of in the order they are received? Does that only apply to a particular service center? I know there are special cases that have reason to be expedited but these are not the cases I am seeing! I am happy for the people being processed in 30-60 days at the CSC but I can't seem to quiet the voice in my head screaming, "This isn't fair!".

Unfortunately, none of this is going to help my case get approved faster..... I guess I am just voicing frustration. I know I am not alone in this.

My biggest fear is that the TSC is just starting to slow down and that it is going to get waaaaaaaay worse. It is an awful enough thought to have to wait the full 5 months (plus 30 days to allow for processing, even?!?!... I'll definitely be a squeaky wheel before an additional 30 days but hopefully it won't come to that!) but what scares me even more is being one of the applications that seems to fall through the cracks.

Does anyone have any insight as to what is going on in the service centers? Is it normal for the USCIS to switch the applications around to different centers to spread the workload and as a result process later applications in front of couples that have been waiting months longer?

Thanks for your support and responses.

I know the frustration and im a march filler. Hah! :) How long have you been waiting for the NOA2? I guess there is no harm in calling to check up if you've passed the 5 month mark?

Take care

We are now in our fourth month. Our NOA1 was on January 2. I have no recourse yet since it hasn't been over the 5 months.... six really since they say to give them 30 extra days!

I am signed up for the text and email for status changes but I still check the USCIS website 5-10x a day! I just can't stop myself.

If I didn't think it would probably screw up our pending application that we filed.... I would just reapply and repay just to be at the CSC.

I sure hope I am wrong about the time.

Good luck to you guys!

Ahhh! That totally sucks! It's hate waiting and it must be frustrating for you both to see approvals before yours. I wouldn't worry much about it, Just keep doing what you're doing now and wait just that little longer and it'll soon come :)

Tell me about it. I've checked 5 times today.. it's a bad habbit I guess. ^_^

You are right! I'm an awful wait-er ;)

Yes, I think it is a bad habit. I get myself all worked up and stressed out over something I don't seem to have any control over.

Yes, its normal. Last year our application was one that was transferred from Vermont to Texas. We had to wait 201 days for approval. 293 days until the interview date. But once you are here all of this waiting will be forgotten. Try and use the time and energy now on something other than fretting.

Yikes! I can't wait to look back and see ALLLLLLL of this behind us! I can't even imagine the relief. I try to redirect my energy but the unknown is so difficult. There's no doubt that it will all be worth waiting for.

Did you end up having to make an inquiry about the delay?

Thank you!

At only 4 months you need to chill.

The faster approvals are flukes and not the norm.

You could refile again just to end up at Texas anyway.

Trust me! I'm trying to chill! I wish it was that easy to shut this mind off. I thought they were flukes at first but they are consistently February and more recent apps that are being approved there. Really, it is a moot point since I am clearly not at that service center. Obviously I'm not really going to reapply... I'm sure if it was that easy everyone would. Plus, you are right. With my luck I'll probably end up at the back of the queue at the TSC! I guess I was just looking for a logical explanation... or just definite explanation of how the service centers flow. I see your NOA2 came in 103 days. We are around that time! I would be more than happy to get word in the next week!

I'm trying not to get wound up in the future and what ifs but I am finding it difficult. It feels like the only action I can take is surfing VJ and sometimes talking to others/asking questions.

Did you check online at USCIS? Our ARN was assigned within a few days of our NOA1.

Sometimes I think the "date watching" on Igor's is counterproductive for me ;) It just depends on what I read!

They are transferring I-129F petitions from the TSC to the CSC? Since when?

The ones I see Feb/March. Granted, I am going by the data entered by people on VJ. There are a lot of "yes" under the xfer spot on timelines and then they show CSC as where it was xfered to.

I noticed it when I was watching TSC K1 Igor's list and I kept seeing all these approvals for February and March apps. At first I figured they were expedited from the Philipines or Ukraine or something, but upon further investigation I see that they are coming up under TSC since people are marking it as the original center. These petitions, however, have the current center listed as CSC.
