N-400 Questions

Hi,

I am trying to fill the New N-400 form. I am not sure whether to answer these questions or not.

I didn't serve in U.S Armed forces nor a current member of it.

Can i leave these questions unanswered or need to select "No".

1) If you are currently member of U.S. Armed forces, are you scheduled to deploy overseas, including to vessel, within the next 3 months?

2) If you are currently a member of the U.S Armed forces, are you currently stationed overseas?

3) Have you ever been court-martialed, administratively seperated, or disciplined, or have you received an other than honorable discharge, while in U.S. Armed forces?

4) Have you ever been discharged from training or service in the U.S armed forces because you were an alien?

5) Have you ever applied for any kind of exemption from Milirary service in the U.S Armed forces?

6) Have you ever deserted from the U.S . Armed forces?

Please help.

Well, if it were me:

Say no to 37 and 38.

Write N/A next to 39, 40, 41. It says in the instructions to answer all questions but type or print N/A if an item is not applicable.

No to 42, 43, 44, 45.

You could also use the old form if you're applying before May 5th.

Thanks for your replies.. i read the instructions again related to Part 11. It said only to put Yes/No and it's a check box. so, i cant type N/A.

so, i will put No for the ones that are not applicable.

Krishna, how did checking 'No' for 39-42 work out for you? I'm filling out my N-400 now and have the same confusion. Any suggestions?

About school history in USA. I registered on line and I got my student n. But I didn't not go to school for my test ELS. So what I should write down in the form? I appreciate your help in advance.
