Remember I move list over each month remove and add. Usually I post list move on but people do come back and post and chat interview results and questions.

Okay i just went through all the previous threads looking for South Africans. Guess what? I only find 4!! Such few South Africans, still the slots are full?

Anyway, i was thinking maybe if u can always update the first post of the monthly threads to the most recent list. That way anyone trying to compare can just look at the first post and see the most recent instead on having to work backwards. Just a thought.

I posted in the general forum, but figured I should update here to let you know that our consulate screwed up big time. During the interview, They told my husband that we are approved but they were missing joint sponsor forms and supporting documents (I-864), which is crazy bc NVC had it! They can't issue the visa until they receive it. Upon getting home, husband opened up the package with all the documents they returned to him. Turns out, everything was in there! He ran back to the post office and expedited it over to the consulate, while I sent the consulate an email (since they don't receive phone call inquiries). I specifically asked them to process our visa upon receipt of his package quickly do to the mistake they made on THEIR part. What was supposed to be a day to celebrate turned into a big headache. They better not delay processing our visa because of this dumb mistake on their end! Frustrated does not even describe how I am feeling now, after over 12 months of this immigration process.

Just wanted to tell you all that we got CASE APPROVED today!!! He will be receiving the visa in 5-10 business days!

Thank you all for the tremendous support and help you've provided along the way...to this horribly long, hard process!

Can NOT wait to have my husband home!!!!!!!

Just a reminder to us all to ask the CO's to recheck the stuff they have. That is crazy. So glad hubby had it and now embassy has it nothing from your side needed.

I'm not an admin so i can't update the first thread at all. I am really trying to get the spread sheet together so and dumb all this data in it so it can be easier for people to add themselves and it would be ongoing always. So thats what I am working on.

And truly most people hunt around look around and unless you knew no one would think the first post will have the updated link info. I sure wouldn't think it I would go to the back and move from there.

So Hopefully the next month thread I will have spreadsheet done. I have 18 months of data to plug in. So I have some work to do.

But thanks for the suggestion.

And yes haven't been too many South Africans most that I know on here were Nigerians there for work or school. But looks like your embassy is about a month wait after case complete so doesn't look too bad.

So I just wanted to congratulate those who have gotten interview dates and approvals. As for me I'm still waiting for an interview appointment for my husband since November. And I probably have a couple months until I hear something. I guess there's nothing to do but to be patient.

she said march is closed now. so its gonna start from april.

Kind of figured usually by first week of month after they start assigning it gets shut down. Well next week is last week of month so hopefully this time next week good news.

I had my case complete on 2/13/2014. I am hoping they will assign an interview date for sometime in April. Would you please add me to your list?

Ya, I was a March filer, and we tended to ask the most questions, or had the most people on this forum. Feb I-130 filers had about 85 pages of comments/posts, and March had about 315. LOL.
