Can I get my 2 years old baby to my interview? we are going together to US, she is a USC.

She has passport and all that? Shouldn't be an issue hopefully. I know some embassies if they aren't being interviewed may not like it. I would have that baby all over me at interview so they can see the family and what this separation is costing a small baby.

Packet for for K1's or CR1/IR1? And with a less busy embassy the interview schedule is usually always open. They continue until they are full or no more to schedule for most.

So it just depends.

Packet 4 for IR1/CR1 .. You know sthng looking back now in the portal timelines I found another couple case complete on jan 28th and still waiting for interview... I got some hope back.. No one yet even for k1 posted interviews on march... And nvc doesn't want to answer the question related to march interview scheduling...

They haven't been closed at all since summertime. So I don't know why this is still so slow, but praying it will be over soon! I talked to the supervisor yesterday and he said that he doesn't think they have started scheduling for March yet because they will usually contact the NVC and let them know.

Yeah I am sure they are slow on the draw they have been slow for way over a year. I remember this time last year folk waiting 2 to 4 months. It seem to always be something at that embassy.

Good they haven't started March. Lets pray that all you get in there.

You have to realize Sally Sue answering the phone don't know jack. hehe

It's coming hang on. And since P4's come from NVC for IR1/CR1 they haven't started. Or they had no slots left one of the other. You would be surprised how many applicants are outside the VJ world.

According to CEAC, our case is still sitting at the NVC and has not been forwarded to Delhi yet. Considering our interview is in 3 short weeks, hope they get around to doing that soon. huh.png

Don't go by the website call NVC. Now they did have some very bad whether and hold ups. But call and ask when did my petition leave for the embassy.

Sometimes they update the website and it says in Transit sometimes they don't.

Hi Guys,

I finally got this notice from NVC stating that my case is complete and sent to Guangzhou Consulate and the interview date is March 17.

However, in the letter it also has a list of documents seemingly needed for the interview. The instruction on these documents is kind of confusing. I've attached the document requirement here.

What is this Financial Evidence here? The status S means that NVC received a scanned copy and I need to bring the real one to the interview. Does this mean I need to mail my tax return for the I-864 to my wife so she can bring the original document to the interview?

I can't think of anything else that's financial evidence. Any advice would be really appreciated!!

Hi everyone!!

I would like to know when should my attorney can schedule the appointment for the biometrics? I already have the interview at the consulate scheduled for March 28. I'm just nervous, she said she can schedule it one day before, but I don't trust her very much. Is she right? Or should I make her schedule the appointment as soon as I can?

Checked CEAC website, and our case now shows "In Transit," and I called NVC to confirm and they said our case was shipped out on Feb 7th. I haven't seen any information on the DHL website yet, but I'll check later. Like everything else, their website doesn't always update immediately either. The last package I saw leave NVC to Manila was dated Feb 4th (right before the bad weather up there). So I'm sure I'll see something tomorrow.

My wife did her medical at St. Luke's already and she's good to go. They didn't have the TDAP shot available though (for tuberculosis vaccine I think), but she was told she could get that from her regular doctor and just take the proof to the embassy interview. So now we just sit back and wait until March 10th... Four more weeks!!! (And hopefully it doesn't take TOO long for the visa to be ready, so she can come "HOME" soon after that!)

Just checked mine: Financial Evidence has "Y" Status.

I guess it has something to do with EP

There was a case where the AOS was missing altogether from the packet at the embassy and an original AOS was requested.

So just to be safe i'm sending another copy of the AOS (original and ink signature) to my spouse along with the tax returns/w2 etc [basically the AOS packet ]

Good Luck
