This is my best suggestion to you. go here to your embassies reviews of interviews. I suggest this for everyone. I know I loaded all of it for Nigeria for my husband cleaned it up so he could see the reviews, and tips and advice.

Next go here to interview standard questions. You may be asked 1 or a million questions. Just know each other be confident that's all you can do. Know what was submitted in your petition and if any extra was filed that's where the CO gets many of their questions. If they feel you know each other there's not much asked if at all.

This is how you have to figure out.

1. call NVC to ask "when did my petition leave for embassy"

2. That date you use in date range so 01/30/14 through 02/02/2014

Hopefully you will see something for your embassy and guesstimate yours is in the bundle.

Do you send that much evidence? I knew for sure what mine was because i sent extra evidence to NVC weighed 20 lbs. With my I-130 petition it came to 22 lbs and that is how much was sent to Lagos I knew it was mine.

You said yours is an expedite it should have been sent the minute the expedite was approved. Have you been talking to embassy at all?

Also remember they aren't sending just one petition. It's a bundle usually. There's all kinds of petitions there remember K1's go through NVC also.

Thats why the date NVC send out is vital. If they sent out Friday it goes to Boston and then gets mailed out. The date NVC gives is when it left the building nothing else

You need to be communicating with the embassy and not worrying about the tracking. It will get there..

Yep, thats exactly the dates i used for the range. Case went in transit on the website on the 31st and i called nvc and they confirmed it left the bldg same day. I was just wondering why it only says 1 piece but weighs 19lbs, thats way too heavy for just my case..i sent enough evidence but my estimate is probly just around 5lbs all in all. But anyways, thanks dhweels! Uhm...Should i wait for the case to arrive at the embassy before i contact them?

yes you have to wait until arrives and they input it into their system. Probably by end of this week.

Hey guys! do you have an idea why my case status in CEAC is still in NVC. My husband called NVC last Jan 21 and they told him that our case is already complete and it will be forwarded to Manila. Then January 29 we received mail that says

Really but you are a F2A that's why I asked. So your Visa Bulletin is current or have you upgraded? That will mean alot when you get a interview date now or much later.

i got an interview date on Jan 29th but my case on CEAC website still says its at NVC, Now I am wondering if the package has been mailed to ISB Embassy or not. How long does it take to update the website?

you paid your Visa fee through NVC. There is no more to do with NVC for you but wait for interview.

Now once you get Passport with Visa back after interview you go to the ELIS website and pay the Green Card processing fee $165. But that can be paid anytime before or after you POE.
