Congratulations to everyone who received I/L for Feb 2014. I am still awaiting mine. Case complete on Nov 21. Missed Jan 2014 Interview date by 1 days and hoping to get a Feb 2014 date soon. I think NVC schedules interviews in descending order of case completion (i.e.First In Last Out method). I have seen similar trend in Jan 2014 interview scheduling as well. Just an analysis. I wish all the best for the interviews. God bless.

Have you called DOS or NVC?

Try to call nvc bt they are not taking my phne iam waiting from last 15 mins... They are really busy

Call DOS 202-485-7600. Wait time was just 3 mins.

Iam calling DOS as well but now wait time is 15 mins ... Lol

Looks like everyone has started calling for Interview dates. Atleast people at DOS are more courteous.

Doc and nvc are same?

Kind of but not really. NVC is part of DOS but calling 202-485-7600 goes to the Consular affairs section of DOS and Visa specialist can give similar info as NVC.

Congratulations Pipla. I called DOS but no luck yet. Mine is still awaiting interview scheduling. My guess seems to be right. NVC works in reverse order of case completion date to schedule interviews. All the best for the interview.
