It's okay, that's normal. good.gif Some cases aren't able to be found online until after they get approved. As long as you've gotten your NOA1 via snail mail, I wouldn't worry too much.

We still did not get NOA1 via mail unsure.gif

We got only email notification and the case is visible on USCIS site.

Should we worry about that? Does the mail notification contain more info than the email?

Thank you !

Haven't seen a topic made yet for this month, so figured I would do it for the new filers.

If you sent off your I-130 packet and got a March 2013 NOA1 priority date, post your experiences/information here and get to know your fellow filers!

Greetings fellow March filers - I filed my I-130 at Chicago Lockbox on March 22nd and received the NOA1 on the 29th. The case was routed to MBC as expected. Received text, email and hard copy notifications.

Do we receive another notice or case number when the case gets transferred to VSC/Local office or will this be the case number till NVC stage?

Thanks and Good Luck to all!

You won't get a notice when your case gets transferred to your local field office, but you can call USCIS after a month or two and ask a Tier 2 rep to give you that info. The receipt number that you were given will be the only number you'll have to deal with until you get to NVC. Good luck! good.gif

So on my side I tried to contact the ombudsman but was unable to use their online submission link. So I emailed them and they told me that people outside the USA must email in their petition. So I did and of course they send me back an email saying I need to submit it online. :bonk: I'm going to call them tomorrow to speak to someone.

Hey everyone! I just have a question, My husband and I filed the I-130 last march and he received the NOA1 last April 5. Does it normally say where your Documents are sent to? because on the receipt that we have it did not say anything that it was transferred to some other location but it does have a receipt number that starts with MSC and at the bottom of the page it has a USCIS address that says National Benefits Center and we filed it at the phoenix lockbox, we did not received any e-notification.

So does anybody here has the same situation that we are in? Your answers are greatly appreciated. :)

Hi,

I have the same situation. I sent it to Phoenix and now the file is being processed by NBC (National Benefits Center).

We need to wait now. Did you track your MSC number on the USCIS site?

Our case is in Initial review, and it will have that status until a decision is being made.

good luck!

We are in the same situation, filed at Phoenix lockbox and routed to NBC, the only difference is e-notification. that E-notification, you should have that G-1145 form filed with your I-130 in order to receive e-notification or text via mobile phone by providing petitioner's email address and mobile number otherwise you can receive only notification via mail.

My Journey:

March 29, 2013 :PD Dec-20, 2013 USCIS approval date July 28. 2015 (F) (F) (F)Interview Date APPROVED.
