I got my NOA1 text on March 22,checks cashed and papers on the 29. The papers are at NBC do they send to processing center that is in your home state. There seem to be a trend they are doing this. Could someone comment if this is true I am in Nevada.

Hi,

I have the same situation. I sent it to Phoenix and now the file is being processed by NBC (National Benefits Center).

We need to wait now. Did you track your MSC number on the USCIS site?

Our case is in Initial review, and it will have that status until a decision is being made.

good luck!

Hi!

How do you know that it was sent to NBC? Does it say on your NOA? Because with the NOA that he received it did not say anything even with the E-notification.

While reading our NOA, I'm actually assuming that it's with NBC because the receipt number has the MSC and at the bottom of the page it has the NBC address.

Yeah I did checked the MSC number on the USCIS site and it says that our Case is in Initial Review.

I'm really Hoping that everything will just turn out fine for all of us! :D

We are in the same situation, filed at Phoenix lockbox and routed to NBC, the only difference is e-notification. that E-notification, you should have that G-1145 form filed with your I-130 in order to receive e-notification or text via mobile phone by providing petitioner's email address and mobile number otherwise you can receive only notification via mail.

Hey!

We did include the G-1145 form on our documents, it's just that I'm kinda confused where our documents are right now, because i was reading some of the post here regarding the NOA1, some of them mentioned that you can actually see where your documents are routed to but with our NOA it does not say where it is. I was just assuming it's with NBC because it has the MSC number on the receipt and an NBC address at the bottom. :)

If you have a MSC number, then your file has been sent to NBC.

I'm sorry, but why does everyone think they'll get their NOA2 so quickly? By May or June? I'd be over the moon. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm confused. I thought the wait for NOA2 was around 6 months!

They're looking at the estimated approval dates that show up under your timeline here on VJ. Unfortunately the estimates here on VJ are terribly off, so March filers expecting to be approved by May will most likely be disappointed to find that they still have quite a wait ahead of them.

(Friend, it's prohibited to speak any language apart from English on this site, aside from the Latin America subforum, which is found here: http://www.visajourn...-south-america/

The answer to your question: all documents needed for the NVC stage must be originals, so both the birth certificate and marriage certificate have to be the long versions that were originally hand written. I'm not entirely sure where these documents can be found in Colombia, but you can go to the Latin America forum to ask other Colombians, who can be more helpful. And please, in the future, write all your comments in English so that everyone can understand and help.)
