How can he talk to a tier 2? I think he always talk to a tier 1. Yes Lee Summit is NBC that's why i'm wondering a lot about it. Good luck, hope to hear some good news soon. Thank you.

When he calls USCIS have him tell them "Can I talk to a tier 2 customer service rep? I'm confused where my case is because I'm getting conflicting information." I always act confused when I call, so they then transfer me to someone else that knows nore information (sometimes they do, sometimes they don't).

We never got a third email too, and same as yours when we called they said our case is already in Nebraska. We recieved the second email regarding the transfer last Nov. 1. We haven't received any snail mail regarding the transfer as well

I haven't received any snail mail either. Hopefully we get approved soon though. When I do get approved though, I'm going to make an infopass appointment right away so they can give me a copy of any snail mail supposedly sent to my house.

When you call USCIS make sure you ask for a Tier 2, then asked for a service request. They will give you a service request number with this format wkd01234567890msc.

On October 24, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. ~E-mail said local office, tier 2 confirmed that it was sent to Texas. I also received the mail that it was sent to Texas.

Updated to "now being processed" on October 29th. Once your case is assigned to an adjudicator you will get this e-mail:
The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

~From what I've seen here, two weeks after this notice you will either get an RFE or approval.

On November 8, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Thank you so much, ours was almost the same, transferred date was oct 25th and now being processed at a USCIS office,.. But we don't know where.. Thank you so much, i will tell my husband about this,.. This is really helpful,. Yeah i wish some good news soon..

Following the approvals after transfer here on VJ, you may get a decision in two weeks, give or take a few days. However, this is USCIS we are talking about, can't say for sure until it actually happens. Edited November 10, 2013 by dilmera

I dont know about that. It just said that my petition had been transferred to local office. I dont even know where is this local office. My NOA1 said it was sent from Vermont.

Based on my visajourney timeline, my petition will be adjudicated between sept 22, 2013 and Nov 22, 2013.

He said my case was transferred to a local field office.

But he never told me where. Only dates which was sep26.

He said they cannot give out location ??

Any clues on local field office.

When I first got to this site, it was on page 125. I read through all 125 of those pages. I'd suggest everyone read through this entire forum topic and everyone can get many of the answers that everyone else has already had. that being said, most everyone that has been told it was a local office found out later that was not true, but it was at a service center. I'd call every day until they tell you a service center. No one at USCIS has given me the same answer twice, but I kept calling until I at least got the same answer that most of the people with successful case progress here have gotten. Hope this helps.

I'm guessing that you'll get another transfer notice around the 12-13th (11th is a federal holiday for Veteran's Day, so USCIS will surely not be working), that says trasnferred to "a USCIS office and is now being processed" or "transferred to another office." No one I've seen here has ever been transferred to a local office but to TSC, CSC, NSC. The USCIS director ordered all I-130's from NBC to split up between those three service areas, so that's what happening. But the USCIS online system is not always accurate.

you should have hung up the phone and called right back... Next time tell them you were told to call back and please just transfer me to tier 2. Some get offended and have a serious attitude but THAT isn't your problem... just get transferred and talk to someone who will tell you the location. They are only call centers BOTH tiers. So they really don't care about the info they give out
