Dumb question, is there a certain time of day like morning or afternoon that they update the statuses if there is an update to be given?

I don't think this is a dumb question at all! I've wondered about it myself. My guess is that there is a batch process that handles notifications every evening. I've noticed that people tend to report getting their texts/emails very early in the day, which was my experience for the NOA1 as well. I think that approvals get logged into the system all day long, and at the end of the day (around midnight perhaps) a single trigger sends out notifications to everyone who has subscribed to email and/or SMS updates.

ROC Timeline

04/06/2016 - Mailed I-751

I wonder if it could just be off because they weren't working with this type of petition much after the change of routing procedure in Aug 2012. They can't even have statistics now, i think.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

I haven't received a notice for transfer yet, I wonder if they have transferred all the cases or not yet.

Thanks for the info! My PD is March 8, so I'm guessing mine is on its way to CSC as well (still waiting for the paper notice, when I called the automated info line, it said it was being transferred to Lee's Summit, MO!). Can we expect the timelines listed on uscis.gov to be accurate? Or does this "local" transfer have any hope in getting an approval before Feb of next year.

I can't believe they are still only processing LAST october's files. ranting33va.gif

Even judging by VJ stats this cannot be true.

I'm the beneficiary.

Yeah, I'm hopeful after looking at the stats here, they will start approving more of the March filers in the near future. It's good to know others are in the same boat, even if it sucks for everyone involved. Misery loves company I guess :) :) :)

Does anyone else feel like you are bothering the USCIS when you call to get an update by the answers you receive? Do you get the feeling like they assume you are stupid and don't follow the news etc? They try to give you the shortest answer possible and seem annoyed when they have to go into some detail.....

When I asked for tier 2 today... and I was ever so pleasant.... he says " ok, since you are refusing my help, I will transfer you.... I was like..." Ummm, Im not reusing your help.... I just don't think you have enough answers in front of you"

Isn't that their job ? Isn't it called "CUSTOMER SERVICE"??? Last time I checked.. I am the customer... I paid a fee.... LOL...

If they bid out the USCIS, then maybe the files would get processed in a timely ( or better than timely) because if they can't do it, they lose the contract.....

Even VJ (being as small as it is) should be seeing some more movement if they were actually working.... Right? Big Effing Deal.... now we know they can play musical chairs with our files... DUHHHH Now it looks like they are working...
