Your getting FRUSTRATED ?? I have July 28th NOA 2. Its been over 1 month and NO NOA 2 hard copy in mail and NO transfer to NVC. And when I talk to Tier 2 at USCIS I get a different answer every time. Those of us that had July 10th Vermont to Texas transfers are the ones getting ROYALLY screwed !

Some of us, others have already received their case #s. I guess it depends on which new trainee got our files to work. I think they have new employees who do not know the proper procedures. They could be sending our files to the NRC instead of the NVC. updating the records with the standard message when approved but not completing the steps to generate the auto mailing of the approval. They could also be taking random files to be audited by the supervisor after approval for quality control. Just my theory.

I see people who have the date when their case was sent to NVC...how do people know this? I thought you just call and hope they have received your case?
Our NOA2 was Aug 20, and got the hard copy Aug 23. (I am aware we are still in the early stages)

11/09/2016 - i-751 sent

11/14/2016 - NOA1

12/08/2016 - Biometrics

06/04/2018 - i-751 approved

Hi Everyone.

How do you know when NVC have shipped your case to Embassy.

Ceac just keeps on saying at NVC.

They received our file ( i-130) July 31st.

Had my Medical on August 21st in London.

Now still waiting for CEAC site to sy something different than AT NVC !!!

Getting frustrated as the end seems to be taking long time .

Thanks for replys. dancin5hr.gif

Doing some research on this TSC TO NVC problem. Turns out that there is a recurring Robles with TSC sending the approved petition to the NRC instead of the NVC. And no one bothers to check, they just gve you the canned response. NRC is NATIONAL RECORDS CENTER. People, that is a holding pattern. If you don't keep emailing, calling, it may just sit there forever.

If I got an case number but was told it was in AP is it possible my case was sent to NRC too? Just trying to figure out why i got put into AP. btw I am a TSC case as well.

If you revived an NVC case number then your file s at NVC if it is in AP there it just means thy are doing their work on it before sending to consulate

some of us from ATL local office were approved exactly 3 months 2 days ago and we called and called NVC but to no avail , they always say the same thing not until our congresswoman called and keep disturbing USCIS then we realized that it was mistakenly sent to NRC, thats what they said and it will take 2 weeks to get them back and i was stunned to hear that a whole batch of approved petitions was mistakenly sent to NRC.... these USCIS officials are doing this deliberately i guess

My fiance and I are in a similar situation, but haven't been waiting so long compared to others (NOA2 8 August, hard copy a few days later).

My only question is - does anyone know if getting a hard copy of the NOA2 actually means anything? All we've seen are pictures of the document - my fiance was staying with me here in Scotland until a few days ago, his mother sent us photos of the NOA2 - and it says something about having sent the file to the "listed consulate", and then doesn't list a consulate. The NVC is mentioned, as is Vermont, but the word "London" is conspicuously absent.

So, does receipt of the hard copy mean it's been sent to the NVC? Or does it just mean it will be sent to NVC?

Standard letter they send everyone once approved. It is forwarded to NVC where they will generate a case number for you 2-3 weeks after approval. Then NVC sends to London. Once they send it to London you will get another letter stating they sent it to the embassy in London and London will contact you.

I never got notification that my case sent, I call NVC weekly I've email TSC and I've Contacted USCIS. I never even got my I-797C approval letter. I've been doing my best to crawl up their arses.

I'll call the NRC and see if they have my case.
