Delays in CSCIS uploads to NVC

40 posts in this topic Register to Ask a Question

We received our NOA2 on August 1st, but since then CSCIS appears to have not uploaded many cases to NVC.

I've called NVC everyday since the 8th day and also sent an email with the attached NOA2 to NVCResearch@state.gov as their reply email asked to do if the wait has been more than two weeks. (It's almost a month now)

Question is, does CSCIS usually hold up the process and then flood NVC with weeks worth of files at once? It just appears an odd delay to what was a fast process for us.

It seems that the other centers are processing to NVC a little more regularly.

Not complaining. I know others have waited much longer.

Thanks...

My noa2 was 29th July case sent to NVC on 16th August case number given on 19th August case sent to consulate on the 21st August case arrived in London on 28th.

You have to give 2-4 weeks sometims 6 weeks. Depends

Yes, but yours was Vermont correct?

I was speaking only of California processing which hasn't uploaded many cases since July 29th.

The service centers typically send approved cases to the NVC in batches. I'm not sure how frequent those are for CSC, but they are physically sent, not electronically.

When I've talked to the reps at the NVC they've referred to the files not being "uploaded" by CSIS yet. I'm not sure what that refers to, but that's what they've said every time.

The files are sent n batches. Believe me if you think California has problems try being with Vermont . There many people still struggling to get a case number assigned with Vermont. Trust me your still much better off haveing California. You will get your case number soon.

I was approved July 26th, and my case has still not been forwarded to NVC. I'm a TSC transfer.

Also it's USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services), CSC (California Service Center), VSC (Vermont Service Center), TSC (Texas Service Center), NVC (National Visa Center).

The incorrect use of the acronyms will likely confuse people, to help you better phrase your questions in the future. :)

As of right now the NVC is informing people that the transfers can take 4-8 weeks from the Service Center to NVC. You're not the only one waiting and frustrated, trust me.

Doing some research on this TSC TO NVC problem. Turns out that there is a recurring Robles with TSC sending the approved petition to the NRC instead of the NVC. And no one bothers to check, they just gve you the canned response. NRC is NATIONAL RECORDS CENTER. People, that is a holding pattern. If you don't keep emailing, calling, it may just sit there forever.
