Jakarta Embassy will email Packet 3 to petitioner, which then you can forward to beneficiary. Once you ready, then beneficiary can request via email for Packet 4 from the Embassy.

They send packet 3 through you mail. I never prepare packet 3. Me and my husband prepare packet 3 before they send it to us. And packet 4 is the schedule of your fiance interview. I sent an email and ask them for packet 4 which is my schedule of interview. I through the procedure 1 step foward before the embassy. But make sure that the embassy recieve your file with your case number from them. So your fiance can make appoinment with the doctor for her medical exam and get the result. Prepare packet 3 and ask for an interview date.

Can someone explain the precise steps when it comes to Packet 3. I can find tons of step by step helps concerning filling out and assembling an i129f package, but I can find very little information concerning Package 3 and I definitely cannot find any step by step detailed instruction concerning Package 3. My beloved Sutisien petition was approved by the USCIS yesterday and I want to get a head start in filling out and assembling Package 3. Because I am working in the dark here so to speak I would be most grateful and most thankful for any detail step by step help that anyone has the time to give me. (hopeful smile)

Once your petition is approved by USCIS, it's now on the way to NVC. You should received email from NVC with a Case Number beginning with JAK for Jakarta Embassy. From here, your case will be forwarded to Jakarta Embassy. You can email Jakarta Embassy for the status of your petition to JakIV@state.gov. After Jakarta Embassy received your files, they will send petitioner with Packet 3, which contains about 10 files attachments.

I guess we should make a new thread about this particular step for Indonesian filers after we receive NOA2. My fiance (petitioner) received an email from Jakarta usem today, they asked him to send an updated information of my mailing address, email address and contact number. Does the embassy really need to send the beneficiary anything by mail? I hope not, I am highly skeptical about Indonesia postal service.

So these 10 file attachments (package 3) are going to be sent by usem to the petitioner by email, I suppose? Then why does the embassy need my mailing address for? I'm kinda lost at this point.

In our case, yes Packet 3 was sent via email to petitioner.

Petitioner should send beneficiary original signed I-134 along with supporting documents suchs as copies of tax returns or transcripts or letter from employers, etc. In addition, petitioner also should send updated Letter of Intent to marry, updated passport photos for both petitioner and beneficiary, and any relationship evidence such as photos together, emails, letters, etc. We used Federal Express to send our documents instead of postal service.

Is it true that we have to pay in cash and the embassy doesn't except debit or credit card? In one of the attachments they notify to pay $350 in rupiah in cash. It's just not a convenient way to pay.

In packet 3 stated that the fee is $240 paid cash in Rupiah, you'll pay it on the interview day.

You can also pay your visa prior to your interview at Permata Bank or Standard Chartered.

We paid our visa priorhand and we didn't have to queue for the visa payment at the Embassy.

Follow what the packet 3 says. Pay cash if it says so. Who comes first served first during the interview.

It is confirmed that the visa fee is $240.

I'm just not comfortable with taking a lot of cash in hand. Well, paying at Standchart is an option, I'll consider it. Thanks.
