go to the ceac.gov website and put in your number's that was given when you are at the NVC stage. IF not there yet then once you get you numbers you can look and it tells you if you are issued, admin. processing, or what ever the CO told you during the interview. The numbers start with your country for example: ISL = Islamabad Pakistan, and then a series of numbers to follow the letters. Hope this helps..smile.png

Case update Oct 1 2013

Please follow instruction on papers given after interview.. his interview date was on dec 032012 theyasked for i601 was approved on sept 8 mailed in passport and medical exam on sept 24 they recieved it on the 25. They call him the 26 saying his visa was ready but he had to go to theconsulate again to sign.some.papers and.military cardand his visa was ready. So hison his.way to cdj consulate today. Anyones comments are appreciated: )

same here! i am getting so worried and at the same time getting pissed! they kept my passport for a month now and they keep saying AP and now i havent heard anythng from them! i want to go back to philippines but i cant, because my they kept my passport! they said that if they need another documents they will contact us but even one word no! they should bring back my passport if my doc. are still in process right?!? hays.. what should we do?

Approximately how many days does it take for them to deliver the passport and visa package to local American Express office after it is issued (For U.S. Embassy Islamabad, Pakistan).

I have tried calling Amex Lahore but it keeps going to voicemail, no human.

i called DOS Yesterday to inquire about my case status and lady told me that my wife's case is pending at Embassy, i dont know what does it means



can any one tell me about this? plz tell me



It's been 70 days my wife is in AP


At the time of interview CO told my wife that she is approved n will get visa in 10 days


if they planned to put her in this AP then why he said that to my wife that she'll get vissa in 10 days?



it is ridiculous

My husband got issued on the 3 rd visa ready to pick up a cdj consulate today... :) finally over thanks god after 10 months in mexico!!! Only a month after waiver was approved!!

Are you from a MENA country ? Did you call or email on 10/29/13 hence the movement in update date ? Did they say the reason why they are asking for your passport ?

husband was from born in canada but parents born in T country

congressman did an inquiry and i emailed via public inquiry form, so we had updates on 10/25, 10/28 and 10/29.

not sure which is from what.

we resubmitted passport with new medical and new police at the consulate's request.
