hi everyone!

My husband sent in an expedite request a couple weeks ago. He spoke to a few Tier 2 NVC IOs who said we have a strong case and our case would probably be granted an expedite. It never hurt to try so we decided we would. He included a letter from his commanding officer (CO) (he's military) and explained our reason for expedite (i'd be too pregnant to fly and we fear there'd be some complications with the baby since it's our first one.) We also included a doctor's note.

I've read on VJ that pregnancy is not considered reason enough to grant an expedite but we thought we'd just try since our packet got lost for about a month between USCIS-NVC ranting33va.gif and that threw our timeline off.

My husband also reached out to his congressman and senator and was then contacted by the senator's assistant who asked for some info. I don't know if that helped but a few days ago, we were told our expedite request was granted! dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

Our packet is on its way to the KL Embassy, and hopefully we'd be able to get it expedited as well.

So if you feel you want to try and get your case expedited, send an email with supporting documents and wait. Maybe you'll get it, maybe you won't, but to me, it's important that we try because if not we'd still be asking if we could get it!

Looking forward to getting this whole immigration process done. not terribly impressed with the American bureaucracy at this point! I used to work with the government of my country, so I'm very well aware of how fast/slow the government can work!

Good luck to everyone, I understand how you feel especially since we applied in August 2012, and thought we'd be done by May! Pffft.

Congrats on the embassy expedite! Call DOS to find out when the embassy receives the case, then contact the embassy on the next steps. Good luck, hope you get an interview date soon :)

Our AOS and IV packets were delivered to NVC this morning. Sent on 06/19.

Does anyone know what the latest dates being reviewed are for the new I-864, first time sending? I'm just wondering how much they have caught up!! Thanks :D

Also, super happy because my Ds3032 was finally accepted this morning, YAY!!

Hopefully invoiced soon! It seems the IV invoicing(based on scouting people's signatures) happens about 1 day after they accept the DS3032? Is this what has happened to most others? :D The hubs had yet to give me the AOS tracking number but hopefully it got there this morning :)

I was wondering about the 6/19 dates you gave me. I thought to myself that took a mighty long time to get to NVC, but then I looked at your signature and saw they were actually sent out 6/28, a much more reasonable date laughing.gif

Submitted the DS3032 online about a week and a half ago, waiting on the confirmation now and the IV bill invoice.

Hoping to finish everything up by the middle of the month and get an interview date in Montreal for August or early September!

Hoping for case complete. NVC received our case on june 14th and IV on june 17th. Any idea guys when we will get our case complete. thanks and good luck to everyone

Just finish talking to NVC operator sandy the AOS checklist still not been reviewed operator told me another 2 weeks. the police clearance wait for 20 working days. usually I call every monday and Friday. just try my luck again this Friday.

Just curious, why do u call on Mondays again, after calling on Fridays? In other words, does NVC review cases during weekends?
