Today is the 37th day as we are stuck at NVC. When this nightmare ends?.... Does anyone here either get stuck or are we alone in this thread? :(

I'm sorry, there really isn't an answer to when.  We were stuck there for 53 days, so I understand how frustrating it can be. You won't be the only one, you are one of the few who have found this thread. Remember there are plenty of people who are not on Visa Journey too, so I would think there are others.

Get ready for the next steps. You can call NVC as often as you like to ask about your case.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

In fact, we are ready to wait even 53 days but no more. Because I found cases from the 3rd, 23rd and 30th of January and it's still "at NVC" . Omg, this scares me.

Where did you find those? Some times people stop updating.

I found it here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw== From the first part of this thread, I found how to determine a date when a case was created using the Julian calendar. I read all 204 pages of the first part and I saw a man who was stuck at NVC for 104 days and talked about it. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=76412

I tracked down his old posts, and that was some wait. He did say they had 'misplaced his case at one stage, but we were told that as well. It wasn't misplaced, in our case.

I'd keep after them. There really isn't anything you can do, but wait. I hope it's not much longer.

Hello

We sent off supporting documents on 2nd March and NVC got them (told this when I made a call to them) on 3rd March. Have not received anything from them to confirm receipt so would recommend people call.

Customer Service agent said they are taking up to 11 weeks to process documents. Hopefully this will be sooner.

This thread is for K-1 filers who are stuck in AP at the NVC.  The thread's title has been edited to clarify this.

The poster just above might want to look for a thread in the NVC forum or the CR-1 Case Progress subforum in which to repost the above.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I received my NOA 2 dated 07/07/2017 NVC says they haven't received it yet. It's been 6 weeks now . What are the next steps that I should take?

You need to keep calling them. A quick search here on Visa Journey will show you have lots of company waiting.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Hello everyone!

March filler is here joining you. Our case stuck at NVC as of August 25th.

Actually that was the day when we even got our case number and now they are telling us that our case is undergoing through administrative procedures. They are unable to give a time frame. And we have to wait until they'll notify us via email for further instructions once it is released. No further information can be obtained during this time.

We are going to call each single day until smth will change. I wish we could know how long it will last.

If you can share any information on this it would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

I've been there. For me, the worst part was "no time frame". We called every day as well after a few weeks. It took us the best part of two months to move on, but since we were there, times have come down quite a bit.

All you can do is wait. But you can also get all the other things you may need for the interview ready to go. Then when you are done at NVC, you haven't any further delay. Hope you get the good word soon!

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Thank you so much for your reply and support. Highly appreciate it.

I understand that we just have to wait but It makes us so much disappointed after awaiting for NOA2 for 5 months.

We have already prepared everything we need and I've even scheduled medical and paid visa fee.

Will pray for the best and fast resolve.

Sounds like you are well on to it. I had my medical and everything completed before they turned us loose at NVC.

Good luck, and check back and let us know how long they held you up, please? Helps the next person down the line :)

Yep, we are almost prepare. Don't think that I'll proceed with medical until case status "ready".

Thank you so much for everything.

Of course I'll update the timeline here as soon as we will have any news.

We were told that I was stuck at NVC AP, because I'm applying from other country than my citizenship. When we called at NVC we were told the word "AP" but usually they never say AP

This is currently happening to me and my fiancé.  What was the outcome?
