Yea, a lot of January filers recently got their I-130s approved. It's safe to say, we could wait

3-5 months. So most of us March filers should hear something by August-September, hopefully sooner. :)

So I just heard from someone who is not part of the VJ family but applied for the I-130 and was approved mid April from VSC. This got me excited and nervous at the same time. I want to know if it's to early to start preparing the required documents for the NVC part like the police clearance and all doc I need from my husband. He is currently in a country where the mail system is not very reliable but I didn't want to have a problem becuase he signed the docuements several months before the approval. This is the link I was following...

I would start everything but try to email him the portion that need to be sign once it is needed. That way you cut the postal wait time in half. I do this with my husband and it really helps.
