This process sucks!!! USCIS won't give me info on my own case and I'm the petitioner (USC). Now because of this I have to debate whether to go spend my 3 yr anniversary with my husband in September or wait it out. I don't want to make back to back trips with a 1 and 1/2 yr old by myself. Plus, we need to save money UGH!!!

Lots of K-1s are getting approved. Most Feb/March & forward CR-1s are still patiently waiting.

I checked yesterday and the USCIS website is saying that it is taking them average of 13.3 months to process i-130's as of May 31st. Anyone know anything about this. Doesn't sound right. Screenshot attached below. I got my NOA1 may 2nd

March filers are reporting now hearing that it will take an average of 12 months to approval (from congressman and senators). Which is freaking everyone out! (well, at least freaking me out!)

Hi everyone,

We are an early may filer.. Husbands USC lives in Texas, i'm German still living in Germany.

I was always hoping for getting the NOA2 by like September, but how I saw on my timeline that by the average approval in this forum I should expect it between November/December. This is really frustrating :(

I definitely cannot wait to hear approval for April filers.

Also does anyone know how the military is involved in thIs? Husband is active duty and we were hoping that could help us move in front of the line but I never really read anything about that.

For the curious ones, as soon as I have a green card I will be joining my husband in San Antonio. Already have a car and an apartment. Just waiting for this process go by fast :)

Good luck to all of you guys!

Welcome everyone who is new! :) I don't know any May filers who have gotten NOA2 yet, let's hope someone will soon!

sj3112, I know someone, whose husband was on active duty, and they got their visa a bit faster than the rest of us. I don't know if it really was because she was a military spouse, or just because they were lucky :)

IR1 took 520 days....
